Displaying and changing parameters
There are several ways to display current values for parameters.
-
You can use the /usr/sbin/sysdef
command to get a subset of the current parameter values
in the present configuration of your system.
See
sysdef(1M).
-
Values for internet (TCP/IP) parameters can be viewed using the
inconfig command with the name of the parameter you are interested in.
See
inconfig(1Mtcp).
-
Use idtune -g or the System Tuner
to view kernel parameters.
See
idtune(1M)
or
``Using the System Tuner''.
For descriptions of parameters and the values associated with them, see
``Parameter descriptions and values''.
For information about changing parameters, see
``About tunable parameters''.
