Configuring outgoing PPP connections

The PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard interface

You can use the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard to define outgoing PPP links.

NOTE: You must have already configured the communications device(s) that you intend to use for PPP. Suitable devices are modems and ISDN adapters. See ``The Modem Manager'' and ``Adding ISDN devices'' for more information on how to configure your system for such devices.

To define the configuration of a new outgoing connection using the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard, select Software Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View Bundles, select Wizard Add, then select Outgoing -- Internet/Intranet, and click on Start.

To modify an existing outgoing configuration using the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard, select Software Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View Bundles, select the outgoing bundle to be modified, then select Wizard Modify, then select Outgoing -- Internet/Intranet, and click on Start.
