Intro -- Introduction to the system interface

Description

The System interface incldes functions for release-specific, non-portable operations. The functions documented here are guaranteed only to work in the operating system release for which it is created. The system: 1 interface version is provided for SVR5.

This section documents functions that are used only for the ccNUMA configurations. ccNUMA is not supported for SVR5, and so this information is preliminary at this time.
