Incoming call services (ICS)
The ICS interface gives you flexibility to run a different
service for an incoming call depending on:
-
the telephone number that was called
-
the call type
-
the device (serial port or ISDN channel)
on which the call was detected.
In this way, services may be restricted to certain
called telephone numbers, and a device may provide more
than one service.
NOTE:
The facility to obtain
the number that was called
or the number of the caller
is sometimes not available with ISDN lines.
Your telephone company may provide this service
for an additional charge.
