Configuring incoming call services

Adding a call service

To add a call service using the Dialin Services Manager:

  1. Select Services -> Add

  2. Enter the following information:

    Refer to the Callservices(4bnu) manual page for further information.

    NOTE: There is currently no support in UnixWare for services dealing with fax over a modem, fax over ISDN, voice over ISDN and video over ISDN. The service will be set to NULL in these cases.

    Device
    Select the serial port device from the list of configured serial ports:

    Any
    The service can be run on any port.

    PPP shell
    The PPP login shell, /bin/pppsh (see pppsh(1M)), is used.

    standard shell server
    The shell server, /bin/shserv (see shserv(1M)), is used. ttymon(1M) invokes this server which determines the shell to invoke for the logged in user by consulting the /etc/passwd file (see passwd(4)).

    You can change the information in the following fields:

    Any phone
    Select Any phone to specify any telephone number.
