The privilege database (/etc/security/tcb/privs) associates programs with the privileges necessary to run them and includes a checksum that is used to verify the validity of each file. If this database becomes corrupted, it can seriously interfere with system operation. If a system program has been replaced or corrupted, the database information can be used to identify it.
In the Reports Manager, select Reports File Security. If there are no problems, the system displays a message to that effect.
