M_CTL(D7str)
M_CTL, M_PCCTL --
send information to a particular module or type of module
Description
M_CTL and M_PCCTL are generated by modules
that wish to send information to a particular module
or type of module.
M_CTL messages
are typically used for intermodule communication,
as when adjacent STREAMS protocol modules
negotiate the terms of their interface.
An M_CTL message cannot be generated by a user-level process
and is always discarded if passed to the Stream head.
Message type
M_CTL is ordinary (non-priority);
M_PCCTL is priority.

M_PCTL is
oddi:

M_PCCTL is not available in ODDI.
