uucheck --
check the UUCP directories and permissions file
Synopsis
/usr/lib/uucp/uucheck [options]
Description
The uucheck command
checks for the presence of the UUCP system required files and
directories.
uucheck also checks for errors in /etc/uucp/Permissions.
Options
uucheck takes the following options:
-v-
Give a verbose explanation of how the uucp programs interpret
the Permissions file.
-x debug_level-
debug_level is a number from 0 to 9.
Higher numbers give more detailed debugging information.

/etc/uucp/Permissions-
/etc/uucp/Devices-
/etc/uucp/Limits-
/var/spool/uucp/*-
/var/spool/locks/*-
/var/spool/uucppublic/*-
Usage
uucheck is executed during package installation.
Note that uucheck does not check file/directory modes or some errors
in the Permissions file such as duplicate logins or machine names.
uucheck can only be used by a privileged user or uucp.
