The RTLSP is responsible for reading messages from the different logging sources, and logging the messages to the EELS log database.
The EELS daemon spawns an RTLSP for each valid real-time-import configuration block in /etc/default/eels (see eels_config(4eels)). The RTLSP is passed as arguments the log-source, destination, and filter tags specified in the configuration block.
If one of the RTLSPs dies, the EELS daemon will automatically restart it. However, if it continually fails to restart, eelsd will detect this and then stop trying.
For more information, see ``Log sources''.
