Using the System Logs Manager
You can examine, clear, or print log files using the
System Logs Manager.
It is accessible from the System folder of the
scoadmin(1M)
launcher, or by entering scoadmin system log on the
command line.
The main display lists the log files the manager is
configured to monitor.

To display the contents of a log file, select the file from
the list and select
File View Content.

To search for a pattern in the log file,
enter the pattern in the ``Search'' field.
Use the next and prev
buttons to search for other occurrences of the pattern.

To print out a log file,
select the file from the list, then select
File Print.

To add a new log file to the list, select
Log Include Log.
You are asked to supply a location and
a comment.

To omit a log file from the list, select the file from the
list, then select
Log Exclude Log.

To clear the contents of a log file, select the file from the
list, then select
Log Clear Log.
