Kernel utilities
The kernel utilities
are low-level support routines for use by other parts of the kernel.
The routines and header files that are used by many different parts
of the kernel, but are not classified into one of the other
subsystems, are placed in this subsystem.
The routines are well-defined and as such maintain modularity
and thus enforce security.
