In some cases,
an administrator may be associated with more than one role.
For example,
if the
mount
command is present for
darrell
in roles
assistant
and
backup,
then
darrell
would enter
tfadmin assistant: mount /dev/dsk/c1b1t0d0sf /x
to execute the command with the privileges granted for the
assistant
role, and would enter
tfadmin backup: mount /dev/dsk/c1b1t0d0sf /x
to execute the command with the privileges granted for the backup role.
If the role is omitted from the tfadmin command line, tfadmin searches the definitions for darrell in the TFM database in the order they are specified in the database (that is, the order in which they are listed when printed using the adminuser command).
See adminrole(1M) for complete details on its use.
