UDK on SCO OpenServer
You can install the entire UnixWare and OpenServer Development Kit (UDK) on SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.4 and
use it to compile and run applications for one or more of the supported
platforms (UnixWare 7, SCO OpenServer Release 5, and SCO UnixWare 2.1.X).
The Binary Compatibility Module (BCM) for SCO OpenServer
package -- OSRcompat -- must be installed on
SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.0, SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.2, or SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.4 so that UDK-compiled
applications can run on those systems.
The BCM for SCO UnixWare 2.1.X
package -- UW2compat -- must be installed on SCO UnixWare 2.1,
SCO UnixWare 2.1.1, or SCO UnixWare 2.1.2 so that UDK-compiled applications can run on
those systems.
See
``UDK on SCO UnixWare 2.1.X''
for more information on the SCO UnixWare 2.1.X BCM.
The following packages from the UnixWare 7 UDK installation
media can be installed on SCO OpenServer Release 5:
OSRcompat-
UDK Binary Compatibility Module (BCM) for
SCO OpenServer Release 5.
This package can be installed on any SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.0, SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.2, or
SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.4 system, and is required if you want to run applications
compiled with the UDK (or run the UDK
tools) on these systems.
It also contains the
UDK enhanced debugger --
use it to debug the programs you compile with the UDK compilers.
