Configuring hosts to use an HP network printer
On each of the hosts requiring access to the network printer, carry out
the following steps:
NOTE:
You can also configure an HP network printer via the SCOadmin
Select
Printer Add TCP/IP Printer
then choose the appropriate model. Choose
On Network for the ``Connection Type''
and specify the printer's internet hostname or address.

Rerun /usr/lib/hpnp/hpnpinstall.

Enter i to install network printing.

Once hpnpinstall has completed, run
hpnpcfg(1M).

Enter 6 at the main menu to add the printer to the spooler.

Enter the printer name, network name, type, context type, and
spooler class (optional). See the equivalent steps in
``Setting up a BOOTP server''
for more details.

Enter y to set the printer to be
the default device.

Press <Enter> to continue, and the printer is added to the host system.
A message about /tmp/hpnpcfg.log being updated is displayed
(see
``Setting up a BOOTP server''.
The printer should be accessible immediately.
