Performing Volume Manager operations
Most Volume Manager operations can be performed using either the Visual
Administrator graphical user interface or the Volume Manager command line
interface.
In addition, certain disk operations can be performed using the
Volume Manager Support Operations menu interface
vxdiskadm(1M).
For details on how to use these interfaces, refer to the
VERITAS Volume Manager User's Guide.
Common operations include:

creating, resizing, or removing volumes

adding mirrors to volumes

creating, mounting, unmounting, or resizing filesystems

adding, removing, or replacing disks

creating new disk groups

adding disks to disk groups
