Desktops
The desktops online documentation explains how to work
with desktop applications including SCOadmin and DocView.
Two desktops are currently provided by UnixWare 7:
CDE-
The CDE desktop is enabled by default. For information on
configuring and using this desktop, choose CDE help
from the Help menu (above the help icon) on the
CDE desktop. This starts the CDE help browser.
Panorama-
The Panorama desktop is enabled by selecting
Options > Session > Panorama Desktop
from the graphical login. This desktop is provided for
those who want to customize an OSF/Motif environment
based on the pmwm window manager. For
information on this desktop, see
pmwm(X1).
In addition, a failsafe session, described on the
dtgreet(X1)
manual page, allows you to recover from an incorrectly-
configured desktop.
The KDE Desktop is also available if LKP is installed.
