Administering port services
The port monitor administrative command: pmadm
By using
pmadm
you can:
display information from the port monitor's administrative file
add or remove a service
enable or disable a service
install, remove, or replace a per-service configuration script
specify an authentication scheme, (see
``cr1 Bilateral Authentication Scheme''
) for a description of authentication schemes.
To identify an instance of a service uniquely, the
pmadm
command must identify both the service (
-s
) and the port monitor(s) through which the service is available (
-p
or
-t
).
