The Basic Networking Utilities (BNU) software allows any computer running the UnixWare 7 operating system to communicate with any other computer that supports the Basic Networking Utilities. This includes non-UNIX
®
systems as well as systems running any release of the UNIX operating system.
The Basic Networking Utilities range from programs used to
copy files between computers (
uucp
and
uuto
) to routines used for remote login and command execution (
cu
,
ct
, and
uux
).
