To correct file attributes when discrepancies are found,
invoke
pkgchk(1M)
with the -f and the -n options:
pkgchk -n -f pkg_name
pkg_name is the name of the package to correct.
When you issue pkgchk with these options, it attempts to correct any differences between the package components and the installation database or, if the -m and -e options are used, between the components and the original pkgmap and pkginfo files.
