Using the HBA Certification Checklist
The
HBA Certification Requirements Checklist
was developed to serve the following purposes:
-
Provide a checklist for HBA vendors so they know what is
expected from their driver, and what we expect them to test.
-
Provide a consistent list of requirements to all HBA
vendors.
-
Provide a checklist so we can track what features are supported
for that driver and HBA model, what testing was done, and what
deliverables have been met.
-
Provide a tool to help assess the risk of accepting drivers which do
not meet all the requirements.
-
Provide a tool for the vendor to understand what areas
need to be tested, and what requirements are important.
NOTE:
All information supplied on the checklist is treated as strictly
confidential, is not shared with anyone outside of The SCO Group,
and is used for no other purpose than HBA certification.
