Setting up the test machine
To set up a machine for testing
an X display driver:
-
Install the current version of the
operating system
(SCO OpenServer 5 or SVR5)
for which you are testing.

On SCO OpenServer 5 systems,
install the X11R6 Development System from
the UDK media,
following the instructions
provided on the UDK media.
This package is installed by default on
SVR5 systems
and is required to build the Unisoft Test Suite.

Install the xtests package from the HDK,
following the instructions provided with the package.
This package is available on the HDK media
with installation instructions under the /info directory.
The same test package can be downloaded from the
HDK homepage
and installed with the instructions provided
under the ? icon.
Answer yes when prompted
Do you want to install the Unisoft Test Suite?

Disable scologin so it does not interfere
with the test suits:
scologin disable

Use your build machine to create a driver package
named driver_prefix.pkg
and install it on the test machine:
pkgadd -d /tmp/driver_prefix.pkg.
