The ISA bus standard has fewer facilities for autoconfiguration than other supported bus architectures. This article summarizes the special steps that must be taken to support ISA and other non-autoconfigurable bus architectures within the autoconfiguration schemes of UnixWare 7 and SCO OpenServer.
