Earlier releases of SCODB
Version 2.4.0 of SCODB is for the SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.5 kernel.
The following features are new to this release:

Automatic creation of the stundef and vardef files
for the user-level scodb command.

The boot code is modified to show
when scodb is configured
and the current DBKEY value
that determines the key strokes used
to invoke kernel-level scodb.
Version 2.3.0 of SCODB is for the SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.4 kernel.
The following features are new to this version:
Version 2.2.0 of SCODB
is used on the SCO OpenServer 5 Release 5.0.0 kernel.
The following features were new to that version:

Four new SCODB functions:
saveu( ),
dbtty( ),
vuifile( ),
and
eps( ).

Value breakpoints (break when a memory location reaches a specified value).

Displaying of source code line numbers in the disassembly listing.

<Ctrl>u and <Ctrl>d movement keys in the disassembly mode.

Displaying function arguments symbolically in stack backtraces.

Displaying the effective address of indirect call instructions during
single-stepping (for example,
call 14(%eax) <htnamei>
).

Use of the ``e'' and ``j''' keys
as aliases to the <Space> key during single-stepping.
Allows uninterrupted single-stepping through call instructions
when used repeat-key fashion.
