fsck_s5 Phase 6: Salvage Free List
This phase reconstructs the free-block list.
It may display an advisory message about the blocks-to-skip
or blocks-per-cylinder values.

DEFAULT FREE-BLOCK LIST SPACING ASSUMED

This is an advisory message indicating
that the blocks-to-skip (gap) is greater
than the blocks-per-cylinder,
the blocks-to-skip is less than 1,
the blocks-per-cylinder is less than 1,
or the blocks-per-cylinder is greater than 500.
The default values of ten blocks-to-skip and
162 blocks-per-cylinder are used.
NOTE:
Because the default values used
might not be accurate for your system,
take care to specify correct values with the
-s
option on the command line.
