Changes to the scodb kernel debugger
Release 7.1.1 includes a new version of scodb, the SCO OpenServer
kernel debugger.
This version now uses the code disassembler used by the kdb kernel
debugger.
As a result, scodb's disassembly features have been
altered.
Some scodb disassembly features supported in previous
releases are no longer supported:
-
backward movement within disassembly listings is no longer supported
-
the dis command no longer supports the optional mode
argument.
scodb now has only one format for output within the
disassembler
-
pattern searching is no longer a supported function of the disassembler
-
scodb can no longer display source code line numbers in
disassembly listings
The current functionality of the scodb debugger is detailed
on the new
scodb(1M)
manual page.
